If you want your car to have maximum stopping power, then this is the conversion to provide it. 4-pot alloy callipers and vented discs allow you to rein in your MGB more consistently and more safely than ever before. 4-pot callipers allow you to apply more pressure to a larger pad than is standard, and having vented discs gives a greater surface area over which to dissipate the heat produced from applying pressure to the brake pad. We offer a variety of pad combinations from road to full race specification, depending on your requirements.
Our callipers are CNC machined from billet aluminium to guarantee the highest quality before being assembled using only high tensile fixings. The pistons are anodized aluminium and protected from the elements by an oversized rubber seal offering many years of maintenance free driving. Our discs are cast and machined specifically for the MGB and made from high carbon steel to make sure that even under the most demanding conditions, the discs remain true and 100% effective.
Despite the larger than standard size of our brakes, this kit reduces the un-sprung weight by 0.75kg!
Since 2012 this brake kit has been equipped as standard to our LE50, our 289bhp Abingdon Editions, and has been fitted to thousands of vehicles all over the world. Feedback from so many use cases enables the continuous evolution of hardware and pad offerings.
Note - This kit is not compatible with Factory V8 wheels or standard pressed steel wheels (Rostyle). Please see our V8 Specific kit for those applications.
